What Is New Mexico Team
Our New Mexico Team are made up of a selected group of college students who travel throughout New Mexico each summer and help various churches and ministries. Teams spend one week with each church or ministry doing whatever they can to help them reach their community with the gospel. It looks different from week to week, based on the needs of the church. Each team is prepared to help with anything that the church needs. This can be helping lead Vacation Bible School, youth ministry, church clean-up, community outreach, and so much more!

​Christian Challenge is funded and supported year-round by the generous giving of the churches in New Mexico. We encourage you to use your summer to give back to the churches that have so actively supported college students across our state.

How Can You Expect to Grow This Summer
As you travel around New Mexico you can expect to be pushed outside your comfort zone and grow in your walk with the Lord. You will actively be sharing the gospel, seeking ways to bless the people you are working with, and intentionally spending time with your team in the Word.

WHEN DO I START
New Mexico Team Orientation is held May 27 - May 29 in Las Cruces. From there you spend seven weeks traveling throughout New Mexico. You will return to Las Cruces to debrief on July 17.

Christian Challenge/BSU Ministries of the Baptist Convention of New Mexico are very excited to announce that we will have collegiate teams to serve multiple churches across the state this summer. If you are interested in hosting one of these teams, please fill out the church request form below. Requests must be submitted by March 2nd.
